Data

Driving change with data

United Way for Greater Austin is more than just a repository of information; we are the caretakers of research-based insights, with our fingers on the pulse of liveability in Central Texas. Our understanding of the data we collect and analyze is not merely technical – it’s the compassionate lens through which we share insights and make decisions, ensuring they resonate with and uplift the lives they touch.

Our data tells a story of impact

To know what is working and having a real impact in Central Texas, we measure data across the micro, mezzo, and macro levels of the community.

Real-time snapshots of gaps in social, economic, and workforce supports

Our data shapes public policies to improve the livability of our community. We proactively share our research-based insights with service providers and civic leaders, so they can both share information with their constituents and learn their community’s needs to inform planning, resource allocation, and policy in their jurisdictions.

A century of service to our community and a deep understanding of data gives us a pulse on the livability in Central Texas. It demonstrates the impact that generous donors, volunteers, and trusted partners have. And it positions us to share our research-based insights with local service providers and civic leaders, informing policy and creating lasting systems change.
