Byron Wilkinson has spent 25 years in broadcast and digital media, building teams and strategies that serve both audiences and advertisers. He became President and General Manager of KVUE in 2023 after seven years as the station’s Director of Sales and has also led stations as Interim GM in both Austin and Beaumont.

His background spans local and national sales leadership across linear, OTT, and digital platforms, with a focus on collaboration, innovation, and community service. Earlier in his career, Byron held leadership roles at THV11 in Little Rock and KHOU in Houston, both TEGNA stations.

A native Texan and graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University (Journalism/Advertising), Byron serves on the boards of the Austin Chamber of Commerce, United Way for Greater Austin, and Better Business Bureau Serving the Heart of Texas as well as the advisory board for the Greater Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce. Outside of work, he enjoys time on the lake and cheering on his teenage children at the soccer fields.
