How the Navigation Center Works
We know that anyone can fall on hard times. That’s why we run our Navigation Center, where you can speak to a compassionate, certified specialist who will connect you to community resources.
Central Texans can dial 2-1-1 when they have a need
We provide streamlined access to information about more than 30,000 local, statewide, and national resources
The 2-1-1 phone line is free, confidential, multilingual, and available 24/7
ConnectATX
Launched in 2020, ConnectATX includes a holistic assessment based on the social determinants of health and allows people to receive support online and via phone, text, email, and chat.

- Education

- Counseling
- Government resources
- Disaster relief
Health Navigation
The Navigation Center provides health and mental health support, information about public benefits, and enrollment support for healthcare coverage.

Community Needs & Trends
United Way creates an annual Community Needs & Trends report. The report illustrates the real demands for health and human services in our region and supports future planning for Texas legislators, city planners, and community stakeholders to meet the needs of the community.
