WOMEN UNITED

When Women Lead, Communities Thrive

Women United is a vibrant, women-driven philanthropic network of corporate and community leaders dedicated to improving the lives of women, children, and families in Central Texas. We harness the collective power, leadership, and generosity of women to advance United Way’s work in expanding access to early childhood education, strengthening family stability, and building pathways to long-term economic mobility.

WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A MEMBER.

Women United members make an annual gift of $1,200 or $100 monthly and participate in learning, advocacy, and volunteer opportunities that strengthen women, children, and families across Central Texas.

Leadership Circle members give $2,500 or $208 monthly and receive additional benefits, including priority access to events and deeper engagement opportunities. The executive committee meets every first Wednesday of the month.

WHY JOIN?

Step Into a Tradition of Women Leading Change

Central Texas has always been shaped by powerful women. We honor the legacy of Barbara Jordan, Ann Richards, and Lady Bird Johnson, who used their voices, their influence, and their vision to move our community forward.

Women United stands in that same legacy. When you join, you become part of a collective of women who believe in equity, opportunity, and action - and who work together to make those values real for families across Central Texas.

Your membership is an investment in education, health, and financial stability for families across our region. Together, we're shaping a stronger future for Central Texas.

Join Women Who Lead with Purpose

Women United is a network of women who are doers, executives, community builders, entrepreneurs, advocates, and rising leaders, all committed to shaping a more equitable Central Texas.

Engage in Work
That Matters

Women have always been at the heart of community care. And it’s no secret: Women get things done. Women United builds on that legacy by giving members consistent access to hands-on volunteer opportunities that make a real difference for women and children across Central Texas.

Learn, Advocate, and Influence Change

Women United is a space for leaders to stay informed about our community’s most pressing and evolving needs. Together, members learn about issues affecting women and families and gain the context needed to take meaningful action.
