Join Women United and Live United
Women United is a vibrant and powerful female-driven philanthropic force supporting United Way’s mission to fight poverty across Central Texas.
Women United is open to everyone who identifies as a woman.
Why Join?
1 in 10 households in Greater Austin is considered low-income, and race and zip code are some of the biggest predictors of a person’s life outcomes.
Your gift is an investment in proven, local, long-term solutions that address the root causes of poverty. Every member makes a difference in the lives of children and families right here in our region by investing in the building blocks of opportunity that every person and community needs to thrive – education, health, and financial stability.
Women United members enjoy opportunities throughout the year to:
Be a part of a community of like-minded women who support United Way’s mission to fight poverty.
Participate in exclusive opportunities to volunteer with United Way partner organizations alongside other members looking to create change.
Attend meaningful educational events to learn more about the needs in our community and how your membership is making a difference.
